My South-East based client have an excellent track record of creating games that appeal to more than the hardcore gamer, designing social and innovative games that everyone can enjoy without facing a steep learning curve.
They are currently seeking to add to their experienced development team with an exceptionally talented Concept Artist to assist in defining the visual style of their forthcoming titles.
Key responsibilities will be:
- Design of characters in a variety of styles
- Design of internal and external environments
- Sharing of concepts and ideas to other members of the Art Team
- Versatile and exceptional 2D art ability (demonstrated through portfolio)
- Ability to create a volume of quality concept art within tight deadlines
- Landscape and interior painting and sketching skills
- Self motivation with experience of working in an environment requiring initiative and minimal direct supervision
- Proven ability to work in a team, sharing concepts and ideas
- Capability of giving and receiving constructive critique
- Previous professional art experience in a video games development team is a must!
