This company is responsible for one of the most widely played MMORPGs in the world, in addition to developing and marketing over 30 different online games. They are currently consolidating a period of rapid growth and are looking for top developers and support staff to complement their dedicated and successful team.
My client is looking for bright and passionate pro-grammers who want to work with cutting edge technology to join their Games Engine/Tools Department. Joining the Technologies team, you would be developing new in-house tools to support our content development and graphics teams while also working with our code libraries, scripting language and game engine.
Essential requirements
- Extremely proficient in using C, C++ or JAVA
- Extremely strong assembler programming knowledge
- An absolute passion for programming
- Strong academic grades especially in Math related subjects
- High technical competence, programming seriously since an early age
- The ability to think creatively to solve coding problems
- Keen to learn and use your initiative to drive forward challenging projects to a successful outcome
- Excellent in 3D graphics software techniques
- A portfolio that demonstrates your excellent programming skills
Also useful
- Low level programming language experience
- Experience in the industry, including sandwich years, summer placements or freelance work
