Technical Artist - New

Your primary function of the Technical Artist is to provide a communications bridge between the art and programming team and play an instrumental role in the technical features and tools pipelines for the final product. .
You should be a skilled games artist with an in-depth understanding of production procedures and software employed in games development.
Your primary requirements are:
Highly proficient in 2D and 3D art packages (3DS Max, Maya, Photoshop, Character Studio).
Proficiency in at least one 3D scripting language (i.e. Maxscript, or MEL preferably Maxscript).
Proficiency in modeling, lighting, and shading.
Ability to communicate effectively with both artists and programmers.
Experience with at least on source control system (Alienbrain, Perforce, Source safe etc).
Desirable requirements:
Some experience using other scripting and programming languages (ie. Perl, Python, DOS Batch scripting, C/C++ and Maya API Plugins).
