This is the games division of the world's largest software publisher and the producer of the now famous Xbox. Some of the games coming out are well deserving of their pre-release hype; such titles as DOA3, Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee and Halo (among many others) are guaranteed to be instant hits.
They are now looking for an Functional Lead Tester who has at least two years experience. The person currently in this role has been promoted and was very experienced and they would like a candidate of the same standard rather than recruit someone more on the junior side. Essential Experience:
-Strong industry experience preferably in Functional Test in a quality assurance or test department within a games environment
-Ability to manage external vendors.
-Experience in managing numerous projects at once.
-Knowledge of game development.
-Genuine love of computer games, and in-depth knowledge.
Functional Skills:
-Experience of managing test environments and developing test strategies in the games industry.
-Experience of top class reporting (Essential)
-Experience of Test Plan writing (Essential)
-Experience of operating on a global perspective.
-Competent user of Microsoft Word and Excel
