Technical Producer - New

Company unspecified (job is advertised through an agency)
Soho, London
DOE
We are managing all of Sony Computer Entertainment's games recruitment and the London office is a world class development studio. It has unrivalled development facilities and offers a creative and stimulating environment coupled with access to the best London has to offer from their Soho office. They are now looking for Technical Producer to work on Home. This is a very technial role and the candidate needs to understand the code base for home, and know the realities and repercussions of changes in architecture and technology choices as well as the project management aspects.

Develop a good understanding of the technical aspects of the Home Core Client:

-Initially a broad understanding of concepts, techniques, technology.
-Develop understanding of the current and future capabilities of the HDK for developers of Home content.
-Over time, drill further into technical details and underlying code base. I’d like this to be a key priority now, so that this person can really know the intricacies of what can and can’t be done, and ultimately foresee issues before they become major (e.g. visibility across instances)

Produce supporting documentation for the architecture of Home, for a variety of audiences (i.e. level technical detail, internally and externally, etc.):
-Create architectural overview documents and executive summaries to help explain Home to non-Home teams (internally and externally).
-Collate and process existing technical information (e.g. wiki) into a more accessible form.
