This Northern company has been around for almost fifteen years, and has produced hundreds of games during its lifetime. While they have produced games for every major platform, the company is currently concentrating on innovative racing games for consoles.
They are currently looking for an experienced Game Designer to join their highly motivated team. The Games Designer will be responsible for the development of ideas and concepts to presentation stage and for the production and maintenance of the design document. Applicants must have a degree in a related field (Game Design or similar) and professional experience designing console games.
They must be dependable, intelligent and self-motivated. The ability to express ideas and concepts, both in written form and verbally, is vital. As well as generating concepts and game ideas, the designer's role will also involve taking on the ideas of others and developing them from initial concept to final pitch, so the ability to work as part of a group is essential. A passion for gaming in all forms is fundamental and an interest in and understanding of other media, such as movies, literature and television, is an advantage.
